Morgan Learning Center (MLC) hammered Sir Small Lessons 4-0 when the 5th annual Milo U18 Secondary Schools Football championships continued yesterday.
Leon Richardson bagged a brace in the 42nd and 57th minute at the Ministry of Education ground while David Coates, Orin Moore and Tyrese Rowley in the third, 19th and 46th minute respectively.
In other results, former champion Lodge Secondary downed St. Mary’s 3-1. Simeon Hackett, Shemar Dover and Thurston Gordon scored in the ninth, 42nd and 58th minute respectively.
Scoring for the losers in the 64th minute was Simeon George. In another encounter, Tucville downed St. John’s College 3-1.
Rondave Noel bagged a double in the 25th and 52nd minute while Godfrey Phillips netted in the 10th minute. Scoring for the losers in the 40th minute was Isaiah McPherson.
Also, East Ruimveldt and Kingston Secondary played to a 1-1 draw. Alwin Franklin gave East Ruimveldt the lead in the 45th minute while Dwayne Jacobs equalised in the 50th minute.
The tourney will continue on February 18th at the same venue with another four matches. The championships is set to conclude on April 23rd.
