Rohan Boodraj has been added to the Floodlights Legends team for
this year’s Florida Cup in Broward County, Florida.
According to a press release from the GFSCA, two teams, Floodlights Masters and Floodlights Legends will compete in the Florida Cup.
Floodlights Masters are the defending champions after winning the Masters competition last year.
Matches are billed for Friday and Saturday with the finals of the Open and Masters set for Sunday.
The finals will be held at the Fort Lauderdale Cricket Stadium and both finals will be streamed live on ESPN 3 and YouTube.
On the first two days all the matches will be played at Brian Picallo Park in Cooper City.
Following the conclusion of the tournament in Broward County, the Floodlights teams will travel to Orlando to participate in OPL1, another softball competition to be hosted by the Orlando Premier League.
Former national cricketer Berbician Hubern Evans has been named coach of both teams.

Floodlights Legends:- Lalta Gainda – Captain, Lakhram Singh v/captain,Dennis Mangru, Nadir Baksh, Surendra Nauth, Arjune Badal, Anil Beharry, Jailall Deodass, Pithamber Maharaj, Rabindra Singh, Steve Naraine, Mohan Sukhu, Ajay Jha, Vivakanand Ramsaywack and Rohan Boodraj.
Hubern Evans is the coach of both teams.
