The Police are in pursuit of a male suspect known as `Sareckeeโ who they say indiscriminately discharged a loaded firearm recently at Blackwater Landing, Konawaruk River, Mahdia, during an altercation with a miner.
In a press release yesterday, the police said that two males who were present, intervened and took possession of the weapon which was found to be a Taurus pistol with three matching rounds and soon after handed over same to the police. A spent shell was also found at the scene. Statements were obtained.
