Dear Editor,
A Minister within the Ministry of Education erred in a speech in which Phagwah was designated Diwali. I think many who are condemning her would have erred in a variety of ways on many occasions. The Stabroek News cartoon of March 15 joined the band in condemning her.
Please, I appeal to all not to overkill with criticism. I am certain that the Minister, like me, would learn from the experience and not allow a recurrence.
