The theme for Carifesta XIII slated for Barbados from August 17 – 27, is “Asserting Our Culture, Celebrating Ourselves”.
With this ‘Interesting Theme’ I hereby suggest to Hon. Minister Nicolette Henry and the Carifesta Planning Committee that we have a ‘Short Profile and Picture’ on a single card, Eight ‘Living Guyanese Steelband Legends’.
I propose their names in random order:

This card will be placed on Guyana’s merchandise desk (table) for the purpose of both display and distribution.
