Dear Editor,
We the undersigned who are all residents of Georgetown, living within the Sandy Babb/ Middleton Streets area, Kitty are concerned at attempts to undo the good work that has been done in our area over the last 16 months. We say this because we have seen evidence of this in our own Sandy Babb Street, where one resident is in the process of constructing a mechanic workshop on the Government reserve. He also has a quantity of old vehicle shells and parts stockpiled thereon.
Despite several complaints to the Minister of Communities Mr. Ronald Bulkan, Town Clerk Mr. Royston King and publications in the media nothing is been done to halt the aforementioned which is unacceptable. We are aware that erecting structures on the government reserve is against the laws of the land, hence we are asking for intervention to have this structure demolished and removed and the area cleared of all these old vehicles and parts. We do look forward to this matter being resolved soonest.
Yours faithfully,
Concerned residents
