Guyana’s CARIFTA Games athletes were still high in spirits as they left a State House meeting with President David Granger yesterday. They were scheduled to attend the National Sports Awards, hosted by the National Sports Commission, at the Pegasus Hotel last evening. Today, the Lindeners will be escorted home, where they, along with their colleagues who will also accompany them, will be welcomed by the Mayor, the Regional Council and other well-wishers.
