Arch rivals Demerara and Berbice will be in action today when the Guyana Cricket Board’s Igloo Ice Cream U17 Inter County One-Day tournament commences at two grounds in Georgetown.
According to a press release from the GCB, Demerara U17s will clash with the Guyana U15s at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Bourda ground while Berbice U17s will oppose Essequibo U17s at the Everest Cricket Club ground, Camp Road.
Both matches will commence at 9 .30am with the second and third rounds to be played Thursday and Saturday.
The Guyana Under-17 team is preparing for the Regional tournament which will be played in Trinidad later this year.
