President David Granger yesterday met with the Queen of the United Kingdom, Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle, Berkshire, England in a private meeting. A Ministry of the Presidency release reported Granger as saying that discussions centred around the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy, a network of forest conservation initiatives, which involves all 52 countries of the Commonwealth.  The release said that these discussions were held in the context of President Granger’s ‘green’ State development agenda.
