Colours Boutique, the official distributor of sporting apparels Joma and Patrick, signed Junior Sportsman of the Year Kaysan Ninvalle as a brand ambassador yesterday during a simple presentation at the entity’s Robb Street headquarters.
The soft spoken table tennis prodigy will now be the face of both brands for a two-year period and will be outfitted with the entire practice and competition kits. This announcement came on the heels of the Chase Academy student becoming the youngest ever winner of the National Sports Commission (NSC) award, following his 2016 gold medal exploit at the Pre Cadet Table Tennis Championship in Jamaica.
Ninvalle during a brief comment stated, “I feel very fortunate, I could not have gotten this far in my career if it wasn’t for my coach guiding me through. I hope to play my best and win as much competitions as I can.”
Meanwhile, Colours Representative Creanna Damon said “We at Colours believe in excellent sports and we have decided to give Kaysan the sponsorship of the Patrick brand that is the footwear as well as the clothing [Joma]”.
“All those who would like to follow his footstep, we have table tennis racquets, balls and the board. The sponsorship will be for two years and as Kaysan progresses in his tournaments we will continue the sponsorship,” she revealed.
Also Henry Chase, Proprietor of Chase Academy said, “Obviously I am elated it’s an historic moment. It just goes to show not only at Chase but the talent in this country. We have serious talent. Young people who, with the right initiative and support systems in place can achieve great things and young Ninvalle is a fitting example.”
According to Henry, “On behalf of the students, staff and family, I really want to congratulate the young man and I trust that he can stay focused and sky is the limit.”
