Garden of Eden man found dead after suspected hit and run

The Police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Suresh Mangru, 70, of Lot 35 Garden of Eden, East Bank Demerara, whose body was discovered about 4.30 this morning, on the western parapet of Garden of Eden Public Road, some 400 yards from his home, with injuries to its head and right side ribs, consistent with that of a vehicular accident.

TCL profit falls 61%

(Trinidad Guardian) Trinidad Cement Ltd (TCL) recorded a 61 per cent decline in its after-tax profit for the three-month period ending March 31, 2017, the regional group headquartered in Claxton Bay reported yesterday.
