Munroe, who is also schedule to journey to Santo Domingo for a meeting, will provide technical and coaching support in assisting Wong in his Olympic.
Munroe assured that everything was in place for Wong who leaves today for Trinidad and Tobago en route to Panama and then finally to Santo Domingo. He thanked the GOA for their support in covering the airfare while pointing out that GTTA will be covering Wong’s accommodation and meals.
Commenting on Wong’s chances Munroe said: “this is a good outing for him to really acquit himself and to look at the long term, transitioning him into the player that he could be in terms of nurturing his talent, he is a talented player.
“We have to look to the future because he still has another year at the junior level so getting him into this kind of competition will really help to fortify his game.”
