Dear Editor,
In the February 24th, 2017 edition of SN, I wrote concerning the total lack of attention being paid to Section ‘M’ Campbellville by the Mayor & City Council. You interviewed Mr. Junior Garrett, the councillor for the area, who gave every excuse in the playbook, but never addressed the root of the problem, which is basic neglect. No work has been conducted in the area in twenty years. You chose not to publish my second letter in which this was pointed out.
Three months later, the situation remains the same, no work has been carried out in the area! The rainy season is here, and with just a few hours of light rain the gutters, trenches and canals are overflowing and the problem persists. Could someone please take us seriously and address this problem?
Yours faithfully,
