The Guyana Police Force is responding to a Facebook Post the day before yesterday under the caption ‘Assistant Commissioner Marlon Chapman is a square peg in a round hole’.
The administration of the Force has noted derogatory statements purportedly made by a reporter on his Facebook Page, which suggests in very strong language that Assistant Commissioner Marlon Chapman of ‘A’ Division exhibits highly unprofessional behaviour.
As a consequence, the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) has launched an investigation into the circumstances which may have precipitated this purported behaviour from the reporter.
This notwithstanding, the Assistant Commissioner sought and was given approval to pursue a course of action in his capacity as Assistant Commissioner and Commander of ‘A’ Division.
