Dear Editor,
It seems the team renegotiating the parking meters contract has taken its modus operandi straight from the playbook of the first team that negotiated the contract: shrouded in secrecy, lack of transparency and accountability and a blackout of information and news (‘“Sworn to secrecy” – Councillors reveal members of renegotiating parking meters are under oath’ GC May 16).
Under oath for what purpose?
Where is the transparency and accountability promised?
It would appear the team is under directions and instructions.
