The Local Organising Committee of the South American Juniors track and field championships which will be held here next month yesterday said that everything was in place for a successful championships.
This was conveyed to the media at a press conference yesterday at Olympic House, High Street, Kingston yesterday morning.
“They say necessity is the mother of all invention and what we have found is that a number of companies here can do the pits and the hammer cage so that is a good thing and we anticipate that everything should be in by this weekend, giving us an entire week with ahead of the championships,” president of the Athletics Association of Guyana Aubrey Hutson said yesterday.
