Guyana’s 51st independence anniversary was celebrated at D’Urban Park last night and ended with a fireworks display.

Fireworks created a brilliant background for the raised national flag.

The Golden Arrowhead flutters over the marchers from the disciplined services.
Members of the military were immaculately turned out during the march past.
