The second annual Burgette Williams Independence 5K and 10K road races are set to get off to a blazing start tomorrow from 06:00hrs.
Tomorrow’s race will start and end at the Guyana National Service ground on Carifesta Avenue with the winner of both the open male and female categories pocketing $40,000 apiece.
All of the nation’s premier road runners including Winston Missigher, Cleveland Thomas, Nathaniel Giddings and Jonathan Fagundes are scheduled to be at the starting line.
