(Trinidad Express) A 17-year-old boy and a man were killed during a card game in Ste Madeleine yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Jabari Etienne, 17, and Wendell Pierre, 34, both of Phase Two, Tarodale.
Etienne and Pierre were near their home playing a game of cards with other men when they were ambushed by two masked gunmen.
At around 2.15 a.m. the killers emerged from behind a house and opened fire at the group.
Pierre was shot multiple times and died at the scene. Etienne was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where he succumbed to the gunshot injuries at around 4.45 a.m.
