The Leguan Stelling will collapse soon if the Transport & Habours
Department does not get some emergency works done in the next few days. About 16 piles are already rotten through, and others will be completely rotten in the following weeks. The decking, rails, and the speedboat landing are also in a terrible condition.
Editor, passengers, vehicles and the staff of the Stelling are in danger of getting hurt or worse.
The Leguan Stelling has to be closed down for safety reason immediately!
In the photo enclosed you can see some of the rotten piles.
