The Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF) has allegedly shortlisted a provisional list of players for the impending Inter-Guiana Games (IGG) Basketball Team.
The event which is slated to be staged in Suriname, will run from the period of August 24th-28th. Players born in the year of 1999 and after, will be eligible for selection.
According to sources close to the Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF), the list was constructed in collaboration with Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) organization and the Linden, Berbice and Georgetown Amateur Basketball Associations.
The provisional list consists of Timothy Thompson (Marian Academy), Stanton Rose (Kwakwani Secondary), Patrice Agrippa (St. Roses), Darnell Hamer (Government Technical Institute), Jermaine King (Central High), Jonathan Mangra (Marian Academy), Tremaine Browne (Christianburg/Wismar Secondary), Shamar France (Berbice Educational Institute), Akeem Crandon (President College), Kevon Wiggins (New Amsterdam Multilateral), Tyrese Mitchell (Christianburg/Wismar), Jamol Gilkes (Kwakwani Secondary), Akil Vaughn (St. Roses High), Jahleel Young (Marian Academy), Leon Harte (St. Stanislaus College), Yannick Tappin (Mackenzie High), Jared Sears (Plaisance Secondary), Andrew Johnson (Plaisance Secondary), Nigel Bowen (Plaisance Secondary), Kelmar Carmichael (New Amsterdam Multilateral), Daniel Lee (Linden Technical Institute), Reynaldo Pator (Linden Technical Institute), Anton Fileen (President’s College).
