Police ranks in Region One on Friday night arrested a forty-four-year-old miner/businessman of Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara with two and a half dozen rounds of live 9mm ammunition.
Acting on intelligence, about 9 pm, the lawmen went to Port Kaituma Waterfront where the suspect who goes by the alias `Soldier’ was contacted and a search of his person revealed the ammunition.
He is being processed for court.
