Milerock humbled Netrockers 7-0 while Amelia’s Ward Panthers and Eagles battled to a 2-2 draw, when the National Milling Company (NAMILCO) National U17 League continued yesterday.
Milerock earned the result at the Wisburg Secondary School ground via default despite leading 7-0 as the seven-member Netrockers team suffered two injuries and could not continue the matchup with the remaining five players.
Prior to the unfortunate end, Tyreese Lewis recorded a hat-trick in the rout, while Lorenzo Miller scored a brace and Lennox Richards and Mario DePaz recorded solitary conversions.
In the other fixture, Shane Jackson and Keshon Johnson scored for Amelia’s Ward Panthers in the right and 26th minute apiece, while Derick Kevin and Shaquan Roberts netted in the 56th and 59th minute respectively for Eagles.
