The Guyana Amateur Weightlifting Association (GAWA) will be staging an Olympic Day Development Meet today from 15:00hrs.
The venue is the Cross Fit 592 Gym located at16 Bel Air Georgetown. Lifters from four Gyms, Cross Fit 592, True Foundation, Michael Parris Fitness Center and Life’s Gym are expected to participate.
This competition is being held in observance of Olympic Day 2017. Trophies and medals will be provided by the Guyana Olympic Association. Weigh-in is scheduled from noon to 13:00hrs.
