The Guyana Cricket Board’s National Under-19 squad is set to participate in three practice matches as they prepare to seek their fourth consecutive CWI Regional One day 50 overs title.
The National Under 19 squad will be engaged in a three day match commencing today from 10 00 hrs at the Everest Cricket Club ground as they oppose a team composed mainly of players from the Cricket Guy Inc (CGI) Academy. Next Tuesday and Wednesday, the Under-19 squad will participate in two One-day 50 overs matches at the same venue, starting from 09 30 hrs.
The CWI Under-19 Regional Tournament scheduled to be played in St. Kitts in July-August.
National U-19 Squad: Ronaldo Ali Mohamed (Captain), Raymond Perez, Kevin Sinclair, Javed Karim, Kevlon Anderson, Ramnarine Chatura, Adrian Sukhwa, Alex Algoo, Richie Looknauth, Kheshram Seyhodan, Ashmead Nedd, Karan Arjpaul, Sylus Tyndall, Joshua Jones, Gavin Boodwa, Mark Jeffers, Joel Fortune, Stephon Campbell, Julian Moore (Coach), Andy Ramnarine (Manager/Assistant Coach). Bhaskar Yadram and Joshua Persaud will be joining the team upon their return to the West Indies.
