(Trinidad Express) If you are travelling out of Piarco International Airport to the United States, it would be wise to get there more than three hours earlier as the United States Department of Homeland Security has requested increased security checks.
The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, in a release, stated that the US Department of Homeland Security has determined it necessary to enhance security measures for all commercial flights to the United States. It stated that these measures will be implemented at the Piarco and ANR Robinson International Airports beginning today, for passengers travelling to the United States.
