Staged at the Georgetown Club on Camp Street, Alex Arjoon made light work of Jonathan Antczak 11- 1, 11 – 2, 11 – 2. Similarly, Richard Chin, the number #2 seed, downed Adam Alves 11 – 6, 11 – 4, 11 – 2.
On the other hand, Nicolette Fernandes beat Nicholas Narain 12 – 10, 11 – 2, 11 – 1. Meanwhile, Jeffrey defeated Javid Rahaman 11 – 2, 11 – 1, 11 – 3.
In other results, Jason Ray Khalil brushed aside Alex Cheeks 11 – 4, 11 – 4, 11 – 4 and Nyron Joseph conquered Peter Michael DeGroot 11 – 0, 4 – 11, 11 – 4, 11 – 4.
Jean Claude Jeffrey upset Ben Mekdeci 12 – 10, 11 – 8, 11 – 7 while Shomari Wiltshire downed Regan Pollard 10 – 12, 11 – 5, 9 – 11, 11 – 2, 11 – 4.
Also, Makeda Harding downed Abosaide Cadogan 11 – 4, 13 – 11, 7 – 11, 11 – 3, while Victoria Arjoon defeated Kirsten Gomes 11 – 5, 11 – 2, 11 – 5 and Sarah Lewis edged Madison Fernandes 13 – 11, 11 – 9, 11 – 9.
In the Veteran’s 35-49 Section, Allan Downes overcame Medhi Ramdhani 8 – 11, 11 – 6, 11 – 9, 11 – 5, while Joe Mekdeci defeated Robin Low 11 – 3, 11 – 1, 11 – 5.
