Eagles and Colts secured wins in the under 23 Division, when the Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) League Championship continued on Wednesday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.
Eagles clawed their way past Pacesetters 68-62. Shamar Huntley top scored with a game high 19 points in the win, while Kwesi Thompson, Nickosie Allicock and Akil Vaughn added 13, 12 and 11 points, apiece.
For the loser, Tofawa Daly recorded 15 points, while Judah Stephney scored 14 points. Adding 11 and seven points were Quincy DosSantos and Marvin Durant, respectively.
On the other hand, Colts downed Plaisance Guardians 66-53. Timothy Thompson and Daniel Ramlaggan led the winner with 13 points each, while Jonathan Pooran and Jonathan Mangra assisted with 10 and nine points, each.
On the other side, Anton Fileen and Jared Sears recorded 17 points apiece, while Delroy Critchlow added eight points.
