Dear Editor,
Praise must be given to the University of Guyana (UG) for organizing the Diaspora Engagement Conference. UG Vice Chancellor, Professor Ivelaw Griffith, is spot on in saying that he is not only looking for financial investment, but also social investment, which will benefit the university and the nation as a whole.
Professor Griffith should seriously consider the inclusion of political investment ‒ the investment which offers the most developmental opportunities to our nation.
The Diaspora awaits.
