Yellow-throated Flycatcher (Conopias parvus) is a medium-sized songbird widespread in the lowlands of northern South America. Found primarily from eastern Colombia east through the Guianas and northern Brazil, the species inhabits canopy of humid forest and edge habitat below 1000 meters in elevation. It has dark olive-brown upperparts, a black head marked with a yellow crown and white supercilia which connect on the nape, and bright yellow underparts. It feeds mainly on insects, though fruits are sometimes also taken. The Yellow-throated Flycatcher forages mostly in pairs or small groups and occasionally singly.
