First Lady, Sandra Granger on Wednesday facilitated a visit and guided tour of State House for 26 teenage girls from the Girl Stand Up Project.A release from the Ministry of the Presidency said that the Girl Stand Up Project is planned and executed by the non-profit organisation, Impacting Communities, Changing Lives. Its directors and organisers hail from Linden, Upper Demerara-Berbice (Region Ten) and, together with other supporters in Guyana, the United States and Canada help provide confidence-building and educational sessions for girls. The Project serves girls ages 14 to 17 from the Linden community.
