Victory Valley Royals humbled Bankers Trust Falcons, while Block 22 Flames downed Christianburg Pistons, when the Linden Amateur Basketball Association /Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) Open Championship continued on Wednesday night.
Staged at the MSC Hard-court, Linden, Royals dismantled Falcons 150-73. Chris Williams shot his way to 36 points, while the duo of Harold Adams and Orlando Glasgow added 24 and 23 points, respectively. Chipping in with 18 and 13 points, apiece, were Yannick Tappin and Linnel Wardin.
For the loser, Akeem Primo top scored with 10 points, while D. Richmond and Devon Thompson contributed nine and eight points, each.
In the other game of the twin bill, Block 22 Flames burnt Christianburg Pistons 58-41. On Monday at the same venue, Royals defeated Amelia’s Ward Jets 82-64, while Bulls downed Raiders 58-46.
The event resumes this evening at the same venue with another doubleheader. At 18:30hrs, Bulls will oppose Falcons, while Raiders will battle Jets at 20:30hrs.
