A man was on Friday remanded to prison after being charged with possession of cannabis.
Mario Lee was charged with being in possession of 448 grammes of cannabis, on August 10 in Campbellville.
Lee denied the allegation read to him by Magistrate Leron Daly.
The prosecutor stated that the police, acting on information, went to the defendant’s home, where they conducted a search and found the drugs in his presence.
The defendant was remanded to prison and the matter was adjourned to September 22.
