Colts hammered Pacesetters 94-44 in the Open Division, while Plaisance Guardians dismissed Kobras 91-53 in the U-23 section, when the Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) League Championship continued on Sunday.
Staged at the Burnham Court at Carmichael and Middle streets, Evans Johnson recorded a game high 24 points for Colts in the lopsided contest.
Supporting with 14, 10, seven and six points apiece, were Jafar Gibbons, Daniel Ramlaggan, Quacey Lindo and Jonathan Pooran, respectively. For the loser, Marvin Durant, Quincy Dos Santos, Keon Marks and Stephon Peters scored 11, nine, seven and six points, each.
On the other hand, Guardians recorded an easy win, led by a 31 point haul from Nigel Bowen. Contributing were Jared Sears, Anton Fileen and Delroy Critchlow, who added 14, 12 and 11 points, apiece.
On the other side, Amoniki John, Justin Algu and Akeem Morrison scored 13, 12 and 10 points, respectively. Also, Plaisance was victorious in the Open Division, defeating Sonics 78-66.
Nikoloi Smith top scored in the win with 19 points, while Marlon Chesney, Trenton Woolford and Nicholas Cassius added 13, 11 and five points, each.
For Sonics, Jason Squires tallied a game high 20 points, while Terrence Joseph and Trevor Smith added 16 and 15 points, apiece.
