A man was yesterday fined $100,000, or a default sentence of six months imprisonment, after he was charged with fraudulently converting money from the sale of a car which he was not in a position to sell.
Ashton April, 29, of 181 Charlotte Street, Bourda, was read a charge which stated that between April 2016 and August 2017, at Go Slow Avenue, being entrusted by Kenson Garraway with motor vehicle PKK 5957, valued at $1,700,000, he fraudulently converted same to his own use and benefit.
