The Guyana Police Force (GPF) yesterday reported decreases in serious crimes for the months of June and July.
A statement issued yesterday by the GPF stated that a 7% decrease in serious crimes was recorded for June and an 11% decrease in serious crimes for July, in comparison with the same periods last year.
Serious crimes include murder, armed robbery, robbery with violence, robbery with aggravation, rape, kidnapping, larceny from the person, break and enter and larceny, and burglary.
