Colts defeated arch-rival Pacesetters 72-68 in the Open Division when the Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) League Championship continued Thursday.
Shelroy Thomas recorded a game high 31 points in the win at the Burnham Court on Carmichael and Middle Streets.
The next best scorer with 19 points was veteran point guard Dave Causway, while the trio of Delon LaRose, Dane Kendall and Shane Webster added six, five and five points.
For the losing team, Sherlon Legall led the way with 22 points, while Nathan Saul added 19 points. Ruel Ritch and Jermaine Hamilton added nine and eight points correspondingly.
In the u23 section, Plaisance Guardians defeated Pacesetters 66-52. The event resumes tomorrow at the same venue.
