YK Investment & Pawn Shop joined the growing list of sponsors to support the inaugural Guinness Cage Football Championship, donating a gold chain for the tourney’s eventual Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Managing Director Marlon Yenkana, during brief remarks at the entity’s Regent Street location, said he is elated to be a part of the championship, revealing that he is an avid sports enthusiast and has always contributed to the development of sport.
He further disclosed, “I have known Rawle for a long time and our association which started through business has blossomed into a friendship over the years.”
Meanwhile, Welch in response, thanked the company for their invaluable contribution, adding that the promotional group will strive to deliver a tournament that the entity can be proud of.
The event which is being contested for over $700,000 in cash and prizes, will resume on Tuesday at the National Gymnasium with the second round of group fixtures.
