League leader Den Amstel and Eagles FC secured contrasting wins, when the West Demerara leg of the National Milling Company (NAMILCO) U17 Football League continued yesterday.
Staged at the Den Amstel Community Centre ground, the home side romped to a 4-0 win over Golden Warriors.
Reuben Dainty bagged a brace in the 30th and 60th minute, while Keswyn Fraser and Romano Peters scored in the 18th and 28th minute correspondingly.
Similarly, Eagles clawed past Jetty Gunners 3-2. Adrian Adolph, Ronaldo Macey and Terrence Beard scored in the eighth, 24th and 49th minute respectively.
For the loser, McKay Smith and Richard Ramdeen found the back of the net in the 18th and 61st minute.
On Friday at the same venue, Jetty Gunners riddled Crane Rovers 2-0. Dwayne Thomas bagged a double in the 37th and 65th minute. Also, Golden Warriors edged Wales FC 1-0.
Bryan Fredericks netted from the penalty spot in the 42nd minute to seal the three points. Meanwhile, Pouderoyen and Eagles batted to a 1-1 stalemate.
Kayode Lawrence scored for Pouderoyen in the 26th minute, while Ronaldo Macey equalised for Eagles in the 36th minute. On the other hand, Den Amstel was held to a scoreless draw by Uitvlugt.
