(Trinidad Express) Caribbean Airlines (CAL) is advising that a number of flights have been cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.
20 flights scheduled for September 8 and 9 are affected.
The cancelled flights are between Caribbean islands and Florida as follows:
BW 414, BW 415, BW 031, BW 030, BW 039, BW 036, BW 484, BW 483, BW 480, BW 481, BW 482, BW 485 on September 8.
BW 031, BW 030, BW 039, BW 036, BW 484, BW 483, BW 480, BW 481 on September 9 have also been cancelled.
CAL has advised affected passengers to contact its reservation offices for rebooking.
It added that affected customers will be permitted to change or cancel their reservations without penalty subject to the following conditions:
- Passengers must have a confirmed ticket issued before September 08 and 09, 2017
- Passengers who choose to have their tickets refunded, must do so by September 17, 2017
- Passengers who choose to change their reservations, must complete their travel by September 17, 2017, unless travel on the ORIGINAL booking was after this date. Travel must be in the same cabin as the original.
- Caribbean Airlines will not be responsible for arrangements or transportation to/from an alternate airport or hotel/overnight expenses incurred by affected passengers.
