(Reuters) – Tropical Storm Jose could regain hurricane strength today and cause life-threatening rip currents along portions of the United States east coast, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
The storm is about 510 miles (815 km) south-southwest of Bermuda with maximum sustained winds of 70 miles per hour (110 km/h) and could gradually turn toward the north in the next two days, the NHC said.
