Dear Editor,
It has happened again: officials making impositions on communities without consultations (‘NDC raises objection over relocation of Lombard Street squatters to Mocha’ KN, Sept 13).
Haven’t we had enough of this kind of undemocratic decision-making?
We saw the consequences of the failed parking meter imposition because they failed to consult. When will officials appreciate that peoples and communities rights must be respected. What should have been done in the first place will now be undertaken on Sunday.
