Corona to continue supporting football

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) was officially presented with their championship trophy and a cheque of $1,000,000 Monday evening by tournament coordinators the Petra Organization for winning the inaugural Corona Invitational football tournament.

The presentation ceremony was held at the Brandsville Hotel and Troy Mendonca, Co-director of the Petra Organization said: “We (Petra) want to congratulate all 12 teams and we are pleased at the team turnout. We were very happy with the response of the tournament.”
