The Georgetown Football Association (GFA) will officially kick-off their 2017/2018 season today with the start of the Premier League at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground, Bourda.
In the opening fixture of the tripleheader, Beacon FC will lock horns with Black Pearl at 17:00hrs. The second fixture will then pit Pele against Camptown from 19:00hrs.
In the final clash at 21:00hrs, the Guyana Police Force (GPF) will take aim at Riddim Squad. Meanwhile, the event will resume tomorrow (Monday) at the same venue with a doubleheader.
At 18:00hrs, home side GFC will battle Flamingo, while Santos tackles Northern Rangers from 20:00hrs. Action will also continue on Friday October 20th at the same facility.
GPF will match skills with Flamingo at 18:00hrs, while Northern Rangers will lock horns with Camptown in the always entertaining ‘Kitty/Campbellville’ derby.
On Sunday a tripleheader will also be staged at the same location with GFC tackling Black Pearl at 16:00hrs, and Riddim Squad opposing Beacons at 18:00hrs. The final fixture will pit Pele against Santos from 20:00hrs.
