Santos, Eastveldt and Fruta Conquerors secured wins when the Georgetown zone in the National Milling Company (NAMILCO) U17 Football League continued yesterday at the Tucville Community ground.
Santos edged Alpha United 2-1. Ryan Dowding and Teon Forde scored in the 26th and 37thminute for Santos. On target in the loss was Julian Bamfield in the 28th minute.
On the other hand, Eastveldt downed Camptown 2-0. Shemar Carrington and Kamacy Davis found the back of the net in the 36th and 46th minute apiece.
Meanwhile, league leaders Fruta Conquerors gained a walkover from Order and Discipline. In the final match, Georgetown Football Club (GFC) and Pele battled to a 2-2 stalemate.
