Police get China pick-ups: The Guyana Police Force’s transportation capacity has been increased as 20 pick-up trucks have been donated by the People’s Republic of China. Minister of Public Security, Khemraj Ramjattan had stated earlier this month that 30 containers were at the Wharf waiting to be cleared and contained gifts from the Chinese Government such as All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), trucks, computers and other vital law enforcement items. The containers have since been cleared and the GPF have now been equipped with an additional 20 pick-up trucks. Below is one of the trucks at the GuyOil Gas Station in Kitty waiting to be fuelled up two weeks ago. The trucks have since been painted over and are sporting the traditional blue and white colour of the Police Force.
