The Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue, will come alive tonight with the conclusion of the Turbo Energy Drink Knockout Football Championships round of 16 matches.
The opening clash of the doubleheader will see Camptown locking horns with Buxton Stars at 18:30hrs while the feature clash at 20:30hrs will pit Linden giant Winners Connection against East Coast of Demerara heavyweight Mahaica Determinators.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF), Pele FC, Silver Shattas, Grove Hi-Tech, Pouderoyen FC and Kuru-Kururu are through to the quarterfinals while the teams eliminated are Eagles, Northern Rangers, GFC, Santos, Uitvlugt and Riddim Squad.
Following the conclusion of the round of 16 stage, the quarterfinal section will commence on November 8th at the same venue.
The winners will receive $500,000 and the championship trophy while the runners-up will pocket $250,000 and a trophy.
The third and fourth place finishers will collect $125,000 and $75,000 respectively and trophies.
