The Guyana Veterans Legion will be conducting its Poppy Appeal exercise on Saturday at 8 am, outside the following locations—-Republic Bank (Water Street), Mall (Regent and Camp streets, Demico House (Stabroek), Regent and Bourda streets. Contribute and support our World War 2 and other Military Veterans. Armistice Day will be celebrated on the morning of Sunday 12th November 2017 with a Ceremony and the laying of Wreaths at the Cenotaph in Georgetown and in the Regions, followed by a route march.
