The Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association’s seventh annual international softball tournament featuring teams from Guyana, the United States of America and Canada got off to a rollicking start yesterday with several teams advancing to the next round of both the Open and Masters competitions.
In the Masters competition, Floodlights, arch rivals Regal Masters and Mike’s Wellman are among the teams advancing to the next round while
Boots All Stars, Farm and Corriverton are unbeaten in the Open category.
At Eve Leary, Boots All Stars beat Speedboat by 17 runs.
