I would like to congratulate the 2,000 students who will be graduating from the University of Guyana this weekend with Certificates, Diplomas Degrees in Medicine and Law and (Masters) for a job well done.
Professor Clive Thomas writing an article in SN January 29, 2006 page 13 titled `Seeking to make the obvious invisible: stratagem or stupidity’ wrote ‘Without a graduate in every household Guyana stands no chance of standing still in today’s world, let alone advancing’.
